New Roads Hosts Conference for LGBTQ Educators

New Roads School was honored to host the Center for Spiritual and Ethical Education’s (CSEE) two-day conference for LGBTQ independent schools educators in February. The conference provided an affinity space for LGBTQ educators to learn and to draw strength in being connected with LGBTQ peers. Guest speakers included Barbara Poma, owner of Pulse nightclub and founder of onePULSE Foundation and Anand Mahadevan, Ed.D., an award-winning educator, school leader, and writer based in Canada.
Head of School Luthern Williams is proud to serve on CSEE’s Board of Trustees.
