Admissions Overview

Choosing the right school is about finding a place where your child will be known, challenged, and inspired. At New Roads, students are curious, engaged, and active thinkers who learn by asking big questions, solving complex problems, and reflecting deeply on their experiences. In an authentically diverse community where every voice matters, our passionate educators cultivate intellectual curiosity, empathy, and the confidence to lead lives of purpose. We welcome families of all backgrounds who value inclusion, respect, and a shared commitment to making the world a better place.

Our admission process reflects these same values. We believe that choosing a school is about building relationships, not simply completing an application. Our goal is to create a welcoming, accessible, and thoughtful experience that allows us to get to know your child and your family. Throughout the admission process, you'll have opportunities to experience life at New Roads, connect with our students, faculty, and community, and discover what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow. We are honored to be part of your family's journey and look forward to welcoming you to campus.

2027-2028 School Year Admissions Process

To begin an application, please complete an inquiry form using the link below. Submitting the inquiry form will create your family’s account in our application portal, MyRoads. Once your account is activated, log in to MyRoads and navigate to the “Admissions Progress” tab, where you will find the link to begin your application. If you have an existing MyRoads account and need assistance accessing it, please contact admissions@newroads.org.

The New Roads admission process is designed to help us get to know your child and family. In addition to submitting the application and required recommendations, families participate in a family interview with a member of our administration. This conversation provides an opportunity to learn more about your child’s interests, experiences, and goals while allowing your family to ask questions and learn more about our community.
