Credit recovery courses are available only to New Roads students who have earned a D or F in an Upper School social science or mathematics course. Students will be given materials that include assessments to work through independently with the support of a teacher. The materials will cover key themes, skills, and topics from the course of study.
How will the course appear on the transcript and affect the GPA?

The course will be listed with the same course title (ex: if making up fall semester World Civ 1, the transcript will read World Civ 1 A).

The original course and grade will remain on the transcript.

The original grade will be replaced by the new grade in the overall GPA calculation.

$1300 Session A: June 16 - July 4 M-F, 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM (6/17 and 7/4 holidays)
$1500 Session B: July 7 - July 25 M-F, 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM
