100+ Visits from Top Colleges

Seniors have had access to over 100 on-campus visits with representatives from top US and international colleges and universities this fall, gaining firsthand information and guidance about programs, campus life, and the application and selection process. Director of College Counseling Alejandra Bonilla has been approached by a record number of schools seeking visits to New Roads this year. “Colleges and universities actively seek out and embrace New Roads students. They recognize that our students are young people who use their passion and power to transform the world. My colleagues in university admission offices tell me that New Roads students impress not only with their academic success, but also with their outsized courage, flexible mindset and empathy, which is in large part the result of learning and growing in our authentically diverse community.”

Check out the Class of 2023 webpage for details about the wide range of exceptional colleges and universities our graduates are attending, special distinctions like Posse Scholarship Recipients and merit scholarships awarded last year (over $3.5 million!).
