New Roads Hosts First Black Graduate Celebration

At the beginning of May, New Roads hosted the Black Graduate Celebration, an inaugural event for K-12 families. Kenya McGee, Manager of Student Life, says that this important event, much like the Black Student Union Annual Family Gathering, “came out of a student-led initiative to have more opportunities for members of the New Roads Black community to come together to share experiences and celebrate students’ accomplishments.”
