9th Grader Aiden Glass Co-Authors Fantasy Graphic Novel

9th grader Aidan Glass and his father Adam have co-authored a fantasy graphic novel that's garnering attention from the comic world and beyond. Lollipop Kids #1 tells the story of Nick, a young hero from Harlem who must access his superpowers to save New York from impending destruction. Lollipop Kids #1 celebrates immigration, family and dyslexia, a trait that Nick ultimately transforms into his greatest strength in the quest to protect his hometown.

The process of writing the novel was a true father and son collaboration. "Over the years we kept adding to the story,” says Aidan. “So one day I said to my dad, why don’t we do this as a graphic novel, and he said yes.”

Aidan has been traveling on the press tour for Lollipop Kids #1, most recently at New York Comic Con, where Aidan spoke on a panel and signed copies.
