New Roads was established in 1995 by Dr. Paul F. Cummins and the New Visions Foundation, and Dr. David Bryan, Founding Head and President of the School, as a model for education in an ethnically, racially, culturally, and socio-economically diverse community. Walter Landberg became Head of School in July 2013.
