STEM Club Launches Speaker Series

Under the leadership of STEM Club President Bodhi Milano, students now have access to learn about careers in STEM directly from leading professionals. Bodhi says she founded the STEM Club to share her research on STEM internships and resources with other students. She added the Speakers Series to help club members and all high school students learn about the wide array of professional opportunities in STEM. With the help of Tara Treiber, who tapped into her professional connections, Bodhi has lined up an impressive slate of speakers. So far this year Zoologist and Architect Jesse Daniel and National Park Ranger and Environmental Conservationist Antonio Solorio have led discussions. Upcoming events featuring a cybersecurity expert with Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a doctor with a focus on neuroscience, a military critical care doctor, a biomechanics and kinesiology expert, and a marine conservationist are in the works promise to offer even more insight into the wide range of career possibilities in STEM.

Bodhi plans to open the STEM Club Speaker Series to K-12 students and families. Watch The Scoop for details!
