A Letter from Josh, Director of Middle School

Dear Families,

Welcome to New Roads Middle School! We are thrilled that your child will be joining our community in the fall, and we look forward to connecting with you next time you visit campus. After a restful Spring Break, our Middle School students are looking forward to many delightful learning opportunities for the remainder of the school year. Our Middle School Speech & Debate team just participated in their final tournament of the year, and we will be bringing two Robotics teams to a competition in Anaheim at the end of the month. In May, we look forward to bringing all of our students to the LA Convention Center for the International Science & Engineering Fair, the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition. Finally, our 6th and 7th grade students will tour SoFi Stadium and our 8th grade students will be venturing to Yosemite National Park for a 3-night trip to culminate their Middle School experience. It’s an exciting time here!

We know that this is a busy time of year for your children, as well, and we hope you are able to visit New Roads in the coming weeks. Please consider joining us for Art Night on 4/26 where you will see our campus transformed into a visual art installation with a diversity of stunning student work on full display. We also hope to see you the following morning for our New Family Welcome Brunch. This event will provide parents with the opportunity to meet our Middle School Admin Team and your children the chance to meet one another and build connections before the summer. Finally, please click here if you are interested in registering your child for the Basketball and Volleyball clinics we will be offering this summer, and check out our other summer course selection here

It’s a pleasure and a joy to welcome you and your family to our village. I can’t wait to get to know your children, and it’s a true privilege to serve as their Middle School Director.

Beth Abronson,
A letter from MS Learning Specialist

Warmly,
