That’s a Wrap - Victorious Winter Athletics Season

The Jags triumphed throughout the winter athletics season. Both the Boys Basketball team and the Girls Varsity Soccer team reached playoff competition. The Basketball team made it all the way to the semifinals and the Soccer team earned our best record in the league in New Roads’ history with a 6-2-2 record, 3rd place finish, and back-to-back trips to the playoffs.

An astounding 33 students athletes earned the Scholar-Athlete Award for the winter sports season by maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher. Capping off the winter season was a signing ceremony at which senior Zaraya Jordan made an official commitment to attend Carlton College and play on their soccer team. The Knights scored big by getting Zaraya on their team!
