Naya-Farrell-Katseanes Back on Live Stage for “The Nutcracker”

Following a lengthy hiatus caused by pandemic restrictions, 6th grader Naya Farrell-Katseanes at last returned to the stage in the Westside Ballet’s production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker at the Broad earlier this month. Naya has been a dancer in the Westside Ballet’s annual Nutcracker shows since 2018.

Naya shares the importance of fostering personal wellbeing in preparing for her performances in the Century City-Westwood News, “To ensure that I stay strong and healthy for ballet, I eat well-balanced meals, get a lot of sleep, stretch and take Epsom salt baths. I started dancing because I wanted to learn about the art of ballet and learn about other styles, such as jazz. I love dancing at Westside Ballet because it keeps me motivated, happy, creative, challenged and athletic.”
