What To Do If...

  • Need supplies?

    Each campus has a stock of everyday office supplies. If you need additional items, please contact your Division Manager (emails listed below).
  • Need to be reimbursed for an expense?

    BEFORE you purchase that item, plan a field trip, etc., approval is REQUIRED by your campus Director. Once approved, a check request form must be completed and signed by your campus director and then submitted to the Business Office. Contact your Division Manager for a check request form.
  • Going to take the day off, need a sub?

    All requests for time off (sick, personal, and vacation) must be requested with advance notice (unless advance notice cannot be given) through Paycom (http://www.paycomonline.com/ ). In addition to requesting time off through Paycom, an email and/or text message must be sent to your Division Manager, Sub Coordinator, Division Director or supervisor. The Division Manager or Director tracks time off and maintains attendance records for all faculty and staff (full-time and part-time). If you are not sure if your division has a sub coordinator, please ask your Division Manager. Please refer to the personnel handbook for additional details.

  • Guest coming to campus?

    All guests coming to campus are required to have their identification scanned for a background check. The guest will receive an identification tag from school security. Guests will not be signed in unless they have an appointment and security has been alerted regarding the appointment at least one day ahead of time. To alert security of a visitor, please complete the Visitor Sign In form on MyRoads resource board (located on MyRoads landing page, Resources, Visitor Sign In). If a guest arrives on campus and does not appear to have a pre-scheduled appointment, a reasonable attempt will be made to contact the relevant faculty or staff member via the department coordinator/division manager.
  • Need to reserve a room for a guest speaker?

    School events K-12, on or off campus, must be entered on the Master Calendar (this includes, but is not limited to: speakers, field trips, test dates, musical performances, admissions events, orientations, student events, etc.). In an effort to avoid event conflicts, it is vital that the procedures are followed on the attached document: SCHEDULING EVENTS: ACTIVITIES MASTER CALENDAR / ROOM REQUESTS (K-12). Instructions can also be found on MyRoads, Resources, Scheduling Events.
  • Need a copy of your pay check stub, W2, etc.?

    Your documents can be easily be viewed and downloaded by logging onto Paycom (http://www.paycomonline.com/ ).
  • Have a question regarding your benefits?

    Benefit information can be found on Paycom, under Benefits, Benefit Forms and Links. If you have a specific question regarding your elections, email Brae Casillas, Director of Human Resources (bcasillas@newroads.og).
  • Need to reserve Chromebook cart?

    Log onto MyRoads and follow the instructions on the I.T. Procedures resource board.
  • How to change your password (for MyRoads, Learning Tool, email)?

  • Need to access WIFI on campus?

    There are 3 wireless networks on campus:
    Faculty/Staff/Students use: newroads  (requires your username and password)
    Parents use: newroads_public 
    Events only: newroads_events 
  • Need I.T. or Facilities support/help?

    Computer not working? Phone line dead? Need a setup for an event? Something broken in your office or classroom? Need something moved or a room setup? To request I.T. and Facilities support, submit a trouble ticket by logging onto MyRoads, and follow the instructions under Maintenance Requests under Resources or go to http://tickets.newroads.org/ (URL is only accessible on campus).
  • Need access to newspapers, journals, broadcasts, etc.?

    We have multiple research libraries, including ProQuest, Gale and Overdrive. These libraries include multiple research resources, such as: the official digital dissertations archive for the Library of Congress, library/periodicals subscription and access historical documents (i.e. newspapers, dissertations and theses, scholarly journals, television and radio broadcasts, and more).

  • Hungry?

    A lunch vendor (selling sandwiches and salads) and a food truck arrives at 11:30 AM daily on the Upper and Middle School courtyard.  The lunch vendor is Scratch Catering and pre-meals can be ordered online (by creating an account at www.ScratchCateringLA.com) or you can have walk-up service on the Upper School or Middle School courtyard.
