  • Wrapping Up the Year with Celebration and Community!

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, May has been a whirlwind of creativity and celebration. Our Arts Department showcased the incredible talents of our students with the Dance Concert, Film Festival, and Scene Night. The Spectrum Program’s drama production of Murder on the Orient Express was a hit, bringing together Middle and Upper School students for a fantastic performance on the Moss Stage. Music also took center stage at the Spring Concert, while the Middle School Speech and Debate team is preparing to compete at the National Championships. Our Class of 2025 is in the final stretch of their “Road to Graduation,” with events like the Senior Farewell, Town Hall Senior Send-Off, Junior-Senior Prom, and the 12th Grade Overnight Trip to Zion on the horizon. Graduation is just weeks away, and we’re proud to carry on the tradition of individuality that makes our ceremonies unique.

Our younger students are also staying busy and engaged. Sixth graders recently visited the Watts Towers Arts Center for their LA Studies project, while the seventh graders are preparing for an immersive day at the California Science Center to explore biomes. The eighth graders are looking forward to their capstone retreat at the Topa Institute in Ojai. Meanwhile, the Elementary School recently welcomed incoming Kindergarten families for a playdate, helping our youngest future Jaguars feel at home. Next week, the Elementary School will host the Celebration of Wonder, a special event where students present their personal projects that explore big ideas with critical thinking and creativity. It’s a great opportunity to see how students connect their own interests with the broader community.
