The New Roads School Board of Trustees, in partnership with New Roads School’s founding organization, the New Visions Foundation led by Paul Cummins, created an extraordinary and unique educational center – The Herb Alpert Educational Village. The Herb Alpert Educational Village enhances New Roads’ established commitment to community and to college-preparatory education rich in diversity, innovation, respectful inquiry, and intellectual excellence.

Our future is materializing before our eyes as the Capshaw-Spielberg Center for Arts and Educational Justice nears completion. Our beautiful new building is poised to enrich the life of our entire community and will house the 350-seat Ann and Jerry Moss Theater, specialty classroom space for New Roads School, and offices for the New Visions Foundation and other like-minded non-profit organizations committed to educational advancement,

Let us show you to your seat…

Our capital campaign continues so that we can outfit the theater with equipment that will enhance student productions and make the venue one of the most desirable in town. You have the opportunity to be a part of New Roads history by dedicating a seat or two (or more!) in the theater.

Please join us in building our future. A gift of $1,000 allows you to personalize your seat with an engraved plaque to honor a family member, thank a teacher, commemorate an important event or simply to leave your mark on our new building.

Check out the seating chart linked on the right to see what seats are available. For more information on how you dedicate a theater seat, please contact the Development Office at or (310) 828-5582 ext. 142. You can also make your gift online.
