Parents are a valued resource in our community, and are our partners as we seek to inspire students to discover the best in themselves. Without their commitment and spirit, New Roads would be a very different place. All New Roads parents are members of the Parent Association which fosters vibrant connections and productive relationships within our diverse community and throughout our multiple campuses.
The Parent Association promotes and furthers New Roads School’s mission through its goals of supporting students, staff, faculty, learning, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities across all campuses.
There are many ways to get involved with the Parent Association. Each month every parent is welcome to attend the general meeting. You will meet other parents, hear news about the school as well as participate in parent education events and presentations by faculty and students.
The Parent Association supports a multitude of events and programs, including: All School Picnic, Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts, field trips, classroom volunteering, Fall Carnival, Scrip sales, annual Kaleidoscope fundraiser, Spirit Night, providing hospitality at numerous school events including concerts, plays, banquets and sporting events as well as many other volunteer opportunities.
