11th Grader Daisy Billington Starred in Production of 42nd Street

11th grader Daisy Billington was thrilled to play Peggy Sawyer in the Morgan-Wixson Theatre's production of 42nd Street. Daisy loves Peggy’s story: a small-town girl who arrives in New York City with dreams of landing a job on Broadway. Daisy has been dancing since she could walk and has appeared in many productions, but this was her first lead role as a dancer.
“Peggy's determination to get into the show and then her nervous excitement when she becomes the star are exactly the emotions I have been feeling myself,” Daisy says. “I love 42nd Street because it is about my favorite thing: being in a show!"
9th grader Sebastian Hochmann was also in the production. Congratulations to both New Roads performers!
