The Herb Alpert Educational Village UPDATE:

On February 15th, our long-awaited dream materialized as we took possession of the site for our new Santa Monica Middle School campus. Required environmental abatement work was completed four days later, and on March 15th, with interior demolition complete, construction of our new space began. Currently, interior walls are up and being prepped for paint, windows are in, and construction is on track for completion by Friday, September 10th for the first day of school.   Please check back often to watch our progress.

At the High School Campus, preparations are underway for construction of our new Performing Arts and Leadership Center. Salvageable items have been removed from the “courtyard building” on campus, the basketball court and baseball batting cage have been relocated, and additional modular buildings are being installed to accommodate – temporarily - offices and classrooms previously housed in the courtyard building.  The “studio” building, containing the Huerta multi-purpose room, is not involved in this first phase of construction.
