Our alumni are an integral part of our school community. They are our link with the past and a vital connection to our future. Because we are a young institution, our alumni are just now beginning to establish themselves in the larger world, and as they do they carry their commitment to New Roads School with them.


The volunteer-led Alumni Association is committed to uniting fellow graduates in a lifelong interactive relationship with each other and with New Roads School. Current goals for the association include:

  • Creating, maintaining, and expanding various networking forums as a resource for New Roads School alumni to share personal news and accomplishments, employment opportunities, internships, college information, etc.
  • Fundraising support for New Roads School’s generous financial aid program including our annual Kaleidoscope event, so that others can benefit from a New Roads education for years to come
  • Boosting alumni attendance at various New Roads School events – those specifically for alumni as well as school-wide events for current families
  • Creating a mentoring program matching alumni with students with whom they may share a professional, academic, or other interest

10+ Year Reunion in the Works for the Classes of 2000, 2001 and 2002!



Attention alumni from the Class of 2000, 2001 and 2002!  Fellow alumna, Krystyna Schexnayder (class of 2002) is spearheading the planning of The New Roads Alumni Association’s first-ever 10+ Year Reunion for June 2012.

Everyone’s participation is welcomed. Krystyna and her committee need your help, enthusiasm, and creativity to design a memorable and meaningful event that will lay the groundwork for a continuing alumni tradition.

Alumni Association Town Hall Reunion Hits Rush Street!



The Alumni Association hosted its annual Town Hall Reunion on July 24th, 2011, which was the best event ever!  An impressive crowd of alumni representing nearly every New Roads graduating class gathered at Rush Street in Culver City.  Our thanks go alumni parent Ken Kaufman (his daughter, Lily Weisberger Kaufman, graduated in 2004 and his son, Nicholas Weisberger Kaufman, graduated in 2002) for his invaluable help in facilitating the fantastic upstairs loft at Rush Street for our event. Alumni, teachers and administrators enjoyed a lively afternoon of laughter, catching up with good friends and enjoying loads of New Roads spirit!
